This was a wonderful kit. It was definitely more challenging than my first. What I loved with my first - the flower mandala - was that there were stitch tutorials and then Julie would apply the general stitch tutorial to the specific pattern I was working on. I didn't realize that the fall mandala didn't have that specific video! The tutorial videos were still SUPER helpful. I did ok until it came to the fawn. The long short stitch was a little more challenging for me. The little guy doesn't look too shabby, though! 🤣 Thank you, Clever Poppy. I'm loving my new endeavor because of you.

Although the design was adorable, my favorite part of the kit was the helpful, thoughtfully crafted stitching guide. The guide made it easy to work though the pattern. I will buy another kit in the future!!

It’s a beautiful project. And you are absolutely right. Practice makes perfect. My first few attempts at the satin stitch are abominable. I’m ripping out the pumpkins and redoing. Yes, I’m a perfectionist! I love working on my hoop while I’m listening to my favorite podcasts. The experience has been rewarding.
