This has been a delight, the tutorials are easy to understand. I would give 5 stars, however the quality of thread, after shopping around, is great, and when they upgrade to DMC (disclosure, my family is related to the brand) then CP is a 10 stars rating.
Terrific. Grateful for your videos though and detailed explanations. It’s opened up so many new techniques, ones that I can use on different projects. Great brand! I’m giving my daughter the beginning stitch samplier for Christmas. Love Clever Poppy!
Since this was a gift, I can't tell if the recipient has any dislikes, but I expect she enjoyed making the stitches.
After doing a few beginner kits decided I was ready to learn some more stitches. Videos were thorough and Incredibly easy to follow. It was great to be able to just practice without worry! Now I feel ready to apply these stitches to my next kit!

I'm in love with Clever Poppy products! It's so easy to learn new techniques and I'm really enjoying my new hobby!
It all went well except for the tutorial for the turkey stitch. I had to go to the makers academy and it quit not even halfway through. So a little frustrated that I was only able to do 2 rows. It was very confusing. I’ve bought and completed 7 Clever Poppy beginner kits so far with 2 still left to start and have been very pleased with all the tutorials and how quickly I was able to learn the stitches. I will not be doing the turkey stitch anymore though.

I love this kit so much- I had the beginner stitches one too! They're so worth it. I am having a hard time with two of the stitches but I'm going to keep trying to make progress! I definitely recommend these kits if you're interested in learning embroidery!
