This kit is absolutely fantastic and I truly appreciate all the invaluable videos. This was only my second embroidery project, so obviously my stitches need work (especially satin), but I did a thing! I filled in all the spots with color. I can’t say enough either about Clever Poppy’s healthy mindset of progress over perfection. That really kept me going this whole time.

This kit was very challenging because satin stitch seems to be the most difficult for me to have a clean polished look. I had to keep reminding myself that I am striving for progress over perfection (which is very hard for a type A personality). It turned out cute and I'm the only one who notices some of the less than perfect stitching.
Hi Lydia, thanks so much for sharing your experience! Satin stitch can definitely take some practice, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes much easier.
