Such a lovely and fun kit to learn embroidery! The kit itself is beautifully put together. The instruction videos are key and so well done. Julie is a great teacher. I finished my Spring Ride and am so proud of my masterpiece! I’ve started my second kit and ordered more for gifts!

I ordered and with in 24 hours had a tracking number. And then nothing. I checked daily. And then right when I was getting ready to inquire, I got an email from clever poppy telling me they were aware of the lack of updates. I was very impressed. And 3 days later, it was in my mailbox. I am so happy with everything about this kit. Julie is lovely and explains everything so clearly. I had taken a class and bought a different kit and I was lost. I enjoyed the entire process. And I love the finished product. Five stars are too few. I can't recommend them enough.

When I first ordered this beginner kit there was a major shipping delay but when I reached out to customer service they were so helpful and sent a new one right away. The tutorials and videos were incredibly helpful and I was so happy with the whole experience! Can't wait to do another project with Clever Poppy!

I have found the Clever Poppy kits I have used (this one and the sampler) to be wonderful introductions to the craft. The video tutorials are detailed and helpful. The instructor gets ahead of potential problems and suggests small good practices that make a difference. And the pattern is very cute and a good introduction.

Julie's tutorials are easy to follow and perfectly timed and detailed. Each section is divided into multiple short step by step YouTube clips that enable you to easily pick up where you left off. Julie is a wonderful teacher and shows you how to fix mistakes, hide mistakes, and to overall just have fun with the process. She doesn't overcomplicate things. I just ordered a 2nd pattern that's a bit more advanced. I highly recommend this site, especially if you're new to embroidery.

Spring Ride Beginner Kit

I found this more challenging than my first kit, which was Flora the Cat. It's a lovely kit though. The instruction is fantastic.

I never received this order bc the logistics companies you used could not locate my address. Yes, even in 2025 this happened. ‍ So I asked fot a refund.

This kit is so easy to understand and helpful, for a beginner to needlework! The bicycle design is so similar to my watercolor art on my wall, so will display them together!! 😊

I have never embroidered before and my daughter bought me this set for a present. I thought it is never going to look like the one in the picture but amazingly enough it has turned out really pretty, I’ve just a few more things to do. I’ve loved completing this one and looking forward to doing the next one, but it’s which one to choose as they are all so lovely

I really wanted to love this kit. I actually ordered two projects. I know this kit will be awesome for many people. I just didn’t like the idea of tracing the pattern. I am just not steady. I should have read the description better. My fault . As well I received one fabric for two pictures. I also am not that talented to trace both patterns on one piece of fabric , there was not quite enough room. The product overall is pretty and nice to have all pieces in one kit.

I didn't know how to emborder at all so I got this kit. And let me tell you IT IS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER!!!!!!!!! The instructions are detailed, and the packaging is so cute, everything is neatly packed and I love it. Would 100% recommend

I've absolutely loved doing this project and I've never done embroidery before. Her videos are so easy to follow and I think the fact that everything you need is in the kitchen! I was hesitant at first because it felt "expensive" but now seeing everything that's included in the kitchen makes it worth it! I'm definitely hooked now.

I purchased this stitch after following Clever Poppy for a few months on Instagram. It took me so long to buy bc I was intimidated by it, but I LOVED all the posts and finally decided to just go for it. Let me tell you, I am beyond glad I took the leap. The kit comes with a step by step guide, as well as a link to dozens of videos to help guide a novice like me to a successfully completed project. I was so sad to finish, but I honestly feel so proud and I am showing it off like a mad woman. Truly, if you are sitting on the fence and having self-doubt about doing this, take this as your sign to take the leap. You will love every second!

My 14 year old daughter and I bought these to do together and we have loved doing the Clever Poppy kits together! She is much faster than me but both have really enjoyed the activity! Love the video tutorials that make it super easy to understand!
